First influenced by Marty McFly and the Pinheads as a toddler, Kyle David Crosby has come a long way as a musician. Developing a love for music early in life, Kyle became captivated upon hearing his first Creedence album. He set out on a path as a musician soon after by learning to play the guitar, bass, drums, keys, and various other instruments. His debut release, The Sun Valley Drive EP, is an autobiographical album of self-discovery and truth. The album manifests the pride, pain, and joy that come with spending ten years writing it. The lyrics reflect the angst of teenage life and the complex decisions of adulthood while maintaining a playful smirk. The Sun Valley Drive EP is largely a solo release; Kyle wrote, arranged, and played all the instruments on every song. And when he needed that extra bit for rock and roll to take it to the limit, he collaborated with two distinctive musicians to blend and complement his style: Matt Rocker (who also produced and engineered the EP) and Glen Smith. With this EP, Kyle David Crosby revs it to 88 MPH to the future, and there’s no turning back.
